Living the Creative Life…

Kittner Studio is constantly evolving. Sam and Bobbi Kittner bought this building more than 20 years ago, mainly because they couldn’t find space that could handle both the needs of primarily a portrait photography business and a boutique graphic design studio. They took over the second floor space filling it with photography art, music, and ideas.

As Takoma Park has changed, so has their businesses, and ultimately how they use the second floor space. Sam still does portraits at the studio, but he spends most of his days photographing beautiful places and spaces. Lucky guy. Kittner Design is still providing print-based graphic design services but as the industry has changed, Bobbi’s focus has shifted to more art-making endeavors. And although the use has changed, this place is still filled with photos, art, music and ideas. It is a place where creativity is pursued with gusto.
